Before Your Appointment
- Medications: If antibiotics or other medications are recommended, prescriptions will be sent ahead of time.
- Forms & Consent: All treatment plans and consent forms must be completed prior to surgery.
- Medical Clearance: In some cases, clearance from your physician may be required.
- Temporary Tooth: If a temporary retainer is planned, your lab case will be prepared ahead of time.
During Your Surgery Visit
- You will be comfortably numbed prior to treatment
- Extraction may be performed if needed
- The implant may be placed the same day or at a later visit
- A temporary retainer or tooth may be delivered when appropriate
- Total appointment time varies based on complexity
