A note about cleanings
Cleaning time is reserved when your gum health supports it.
Many patients receive a cleaning at their first visit, and we reserve time for it within your 90-minute exam when appropriate. If we find signs of periodontal disease, active inflammation, or bone loss, we may recommend a more appropriate type of hygiene therapy instead and will explain why before scheduling your next step.
