Natural-looking minimal-prep veneers at Rise Dental

Our philosophy

Design the smile first.
Prepare only what the design requires.

Minimal-prep dentistry starts with the final result in mind. We evaluate tooth position, enamel, bite, gum levels, facial proportions, and your goals before deciding whether no-prep, minimal-prep, alignment, bonding, or another path is most appropriate.

Why patients consider it

Designed to feel thoughtful, not overdone.

Preserve more enamel

When your case allows, conservative preparation helps us keep more healthy natural tooth structure.

Natural-looking ceramics

Custom laboratory ceramics can reproduce translucency, shape, texture, and proportions that feel like real teeth.

Designed around your face

We plan the smile with your facial features, lip movement, bite, and long-term stability in mind.

You may be a good fit if

Your goals match the right clinical situation.

You want to improve shape, proportion, worn edges, gaps, or discoloration.

You want a natural result rather than an overly uniform or opaque smile.

You are concerned about aggressive tooth reduction.

You want to compare porcelain veneers with bonding or Invisalign before deciding.

Compare the options

No-prep, minimal-prep, or something else?

No-Prep Veneers

Best suited to selected cases where the smile needs addition rather than significant reduction. Tooth position and bite matter.

Minimal-Prep Veneers

A small amount of enamel may be adjusted to create room, ideal contours, and a natural transition when clinically necessary.

Composite Bonding

Chairside resin can be a highly conservative option for smaller shape changes, edge repair, spacing, or phased cosmetic care.

What to expect

A clear path from question to plan.

01

Tell us what you want to change.

We review your smile, photos, bite, tooth position, enamel, old dentistry, and the changes that matter most to you.

02

Preview the direction.

When appropriate, we use digital planning or a mock-up so you can react to shape, length, proportion, and overall feel before final treatment.

03

Choose the most conservative path.

The final plan may include whitening, alignment, bonding, minimal-prep veneers, no-prep veneers, or a combination.

04

Create and protect the result.

Custom ceramics are completed according to the approved design, followed by maintenance and protection based on your bite and risk.

Common questions

A few things people often ask.

Will my teeth need to be shaved down?

Not necessarily. Some cases may be appropriate for no-prep treatment, while others need limited enamel adjustment for shape, space, fit, or esthetics. We decide after evaluating your tooth position, enamel, bite, and desired change.

What is the difference between composite bonding and porcelain veneers?

Bonding is placed directly in the office using composite resin. Porcelain veneers are custom laboratory-made ceramics that generally offer greater color stability and control over larger esthetic changes.

How many veneers do I need?

There is no fixed number. It depends on your smile width, tooth display, existing restorations, goals, and whether whitening, alignment, or bonding can reduce the number of teeth that need treatment.

Should I do Invisalign first?

Sometimes. Aligning teeth first can make cosmetic treatment more conservative and may reduce the amount of preparation needed. We will show you when alignment would meaningfully improve the plan.

Do you offer a consultation?

Yes. Cosmetic and Smile Design consultations can be included as part of your New Patient Visit when requested. Standalone consultations are $149 and may be applied toward treatment if you move forward.
